Confession time… 😬
These last few weeks, my motivation to read Scripture totally tanked. I put my Bible on the back burner. And it’s really quite humbling since my last post was on “spiritual laziness”. Ugh.
Anywayyy…
Let’s just say I’ve been reminded how important it is to stay in the Word (and what happens when we don’t)—my emotions, my choices, & my relationships were affected as a result.
You and I could read every self-help book on the shelf, and we’d still need more. Because worldly advice doesn’t offer us the kind of mind+soul transformation Jesus does. At least not in entirety. (I do love me some self-help though, don’t get me wrong.)

The Bible provides us with truth. And this, in partnership with His grace, allows us to live better, fuller, more meaningful lives… Sign me up!
I don’t know where you’re at this moment—if you feel madly in love with the Lord or if you’re numb from a life filled with TV politics and pandemic talk… But I want to encourage you to open up your Bible (and heart) to the Word of God.
James 4:8 says “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.”

Whether you’ve been MIA from your daily devotionals, wanna switch it up, or have no clue how to start… I’ve created printable journal pages that walk you through studying your Bible using the S.O.A.P. Method (Scripture, Observation, Application & Prayer) —one of my fav ways to dive deep! Download them for FREE here.
