New Year, New Dreams: What’s Your Heart’s Vision For 2021?

2021 is here… so what’s your vision for the year?!

Yesterday at church, we wrote down our hopes & dreams for this year. I thought of some reasonable-ish ideas—but didn’t want to get too ahead of myself. Then came a not-so-little push from the Holy Spirit.

As a stranger prayed over me, she was prompted to tell me to “dream bigger”. Yep, you heard me!

DREAM BIGGER?! But what does that mean???

I don’t know about you but sometimes I feel guilty/selfish when I ask God for something. But God loves to give generously! And our Father also loves it when we come to Him and tell him the desires of our heart. This puts us in a place of dependence on His delivery rather than on our own self-sufficiency.

Sisters, it’s time to get bold in our requests, sharing even our wildest hopes & dreams with Him.

1 John 5:14 says, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us”. Sometimes, He gives us the desires of our hearts. And other times, He needs to change our desires to align with His.

I want to encourage you just as I was… To put those requests you have right now in the Lord’s hands. Dedicate them to prayer. And watch & see what He does. How He will move in your life and the lives of others this year.

So what’s your heart’s vision for 2021? I’d love to hear! Leave a comment below.
